ABOUT THE TEACHER

IMAN
KPJAYI AUTHORISED TEACHER
Iman an Egyptian-canadian yoga practitioner has been immersed in yoga for over 15 years. Canadian born-and raised, in her twenties Iman travelled to the east to reconnect with her Egyptian roots which later led her to Mysore, India where she spent many years immersing in the practice of Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Sharath Jois and many of Ashtanga yoga's renowned certified teachers. One of the first authorised Ashtanga Yoga teachers in Africa & the Middle East, She has been teaching in Cairo, Egypt for over 10 years and has been an important integral part of Egypts growing yoga community. She holds a daily Mysore program in Cairo as well as international Ashtanga Yoga workshops and retreats.
Iman creates a fun and intimate environment intuitively guiding each participant to explore the inner workings of their bodies through the ashtanga yoga method. Our days will be planned to give you an ideal balance of course programming covering various aspects of a yoga and meditation practice as well as time for relaxation, reflection, connection, and exploration.
