The Ashtanga Yoga retreat is designed for any ashtanga practitioners who want to improve and develop their yoga practice. During one week, the students will experience Morning Mysore classes(self-practice) and the last day one led Primary series class guided in a traditional way.

In three afternoons, Dany Sa will teach instructional classes to improve their knowledge, learning more about the technique of a specific or a group of asanas.

    afternoon Class – opening hips, preparing Lotus pose.

    Afternoon- Back bending

    Afternoon: arms balance.

Ballerina completed her studies at the University of dance in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in 1998.

In 2006 she began practicing regularly Ashtanga Yoga with Professor Matthew Vollmer in Rio de Janeiro and expanded her studies with Professor Clayton Horton in San Francisco- USA, where she became his assistant in the Ashtanga classes.

Dany traveled for the first time to Mysore in 2011 and began her studies with her teacher Sharath Jois being authorised level 2 in Oct 2103. She has perfected her studies at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) annually attending specialization course for teachers and being her assistant.

She takes the practice of Ashtanga Yoga as a philosophy of life and believes that through this practice we can seek self-knowledge, achieving a better and happier way of living.

This intensive will be held in a beautiful antique finca in Campo, in an atmosphere of exceptional quiet and seclusion. The finca is easy to reach, only 25 minutes by car from the International Airport of Palma (PMI) which receives direct flights from all over Europe throughout the summer months. The finca has spacious and fully appointed rooms, with a variety of different sleeping arrangements to insure your complete comfort.

The retreat will be orchestrated by Pilar de Miguel, founder and director of Balearic Retreats. As a Mallorca native and devoted Ashtangini, Pilar has developed a reputation for organizing magical Ashtanga retreats in the Balearic Islands and elsewhere.
