Welcome to my online Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga classes, where you can deepen your practice, feel supported, and stay accountable, no matter where you are in the world. Starting Monday, December 4th, I’ll be offering Mysore-style classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 7:00 to 9:00 AM CET. These classes are open to practitioners of all levels who are already familiar with the Mysore self-practice format.
What is Mysore Style?
In Mysore-style Ashtanga, each practitioner works at their own pace, following the Ashtanga sequence while I guide and support you individually. This format allows you to focus on your practice, refine your alignment, and connect with your breath, all while receiving personalized feedback. During the online sessions, I will offer verbal adjustments, cues, and guidance, helping you to progress in your practice, whether you’re working on the fundamentals or exploring deeper aspects of the sequence.
The beauty of Mysore style is that it provides the flexibility to practice at your own convenience while still feeling supported and accountable. I will be there to assist you as needed, ensuring you remain motivated and connected to your practice, even in an online setting.
Who Can Join?
These classes are open to all practitioners who are already familiar with the Mysore self-practice style. If you are new to Ashtanga or haven't yet practiced in Mysore style, I invite you to reach out to me, as I will soon be opening a beginners’ group for those starting their Ashtanga journey.
Monthly Led Class
In addition to the Mysore-style sessions, I will also offer a Led Ashtanga Class once a month. This class will be a full guided practice of the entire Ashtanga sequence, giving you the opportunity to experience the traditional flow of a led class, practice with a sense of community, and challenge yourself with the full sequence. It’s a wonderful complement to the Mysore-style classes and an opportunity to refine your practice in a group setting.

Drop-in Class: 10€ per class – Join any individual Mysore session.
Monthly Subscription: 60€ – Unlimited access to all Mysore-style classes and the monthly Led class.

About ME
Thank you for stopping by! My name is Pilar de Miguel, and I’m a Level 2 authorized teacher by Sharath Jois.
Yoga has been a part of my life since a young age, and over the years, I’ve explored many different styles. However, when I discovered Ashtanga Yoga in 2014, I immediately felt a deep connection to its transformative power—particularly the way it blends breath, meditation, and movement.
Inspired by this practice, I left my career in international media and began traveling to Mysore, India, to study with my teacher and Guru, Sharath Jois. It was during this time that I felt compelled to create Balearic Retreats, bringing the magic of Mysore to my home island of Mallorca, and eventually expanding to other locations.
Today, I lead a Mysore program in Mallorca, teach both locally and internationally, and support retreat leaders in enhancing their offerings.
